The Danesfort Residents’ Association formed in the summer of 2010 when residents decided to group together to respond to problems that were affecting Danesfort Drive and Danesfort Court Estates, Loughrea.

Litter, anti-social behaviour, lighting, signage, speeding and the maintenance of the common areas were all identified as issues that needed confronting.

As we all know it is far easier to overcome challenges when you are part of a group.

A committee was formed and a number of general clean-up days have been organised to great success.  The Danesfort Residents’ Association met with Loughrea Gardai and have fostered strong links with community policing and Neighbourhood Watch.

The Association is committed to making life in the Danesfort Estates as safe and as pleasant as possible and to helping residents get to know each other.

If you are a resident of either Danesfort Drive or Court, then there is no need to suffer annoyances or dangers on your own.  Equally if you would like to help and get to know your neighbours better then please give us a call.
